An extraordinary ultra-cycling event
The Race Across France is a cross-country race that pushes athletes to the limits of endurance: 2,500 kilometers, 30,000 meters of elevation gain, in almost total autonomy. Rain, thunderstorms, oppressive heat... the 2025 vintage has spared no one.
Exceptional performance
For its first official appearance, the Owlin Racing Team distinguished itself over the two major distances:
Over the distance 2500 km:
- 🥇 Jonas Verest, winner of the RAF 2025, completes the 2616 km and 37,087 m of elevation gain in 5 days, 13 hours and 37 minutes, at the end of a titanic effort documented on Strava and on his website
- 🥈 Lucas Becker finished 2nd, just over 2 hours behind, after an incredible fight until the last day.
- Antoine Penkalla finished 6th, just 16 seconds behind 5th place.
- Fabien Dauge finished in a solid 20th place.
Over the distance 1000 km:
- 🥈 Juliette Coqueret, for her second participation in the 1000km, achieved an exceptional feat: 2nd woman and 5th overall out of 233 finishers, in a race dominated by Estelle Gerbier (3rd overall).
An epic victory, a historic double over 2500 km, a 5th place overall for women over 1000 km... For its first major outing, the Owlin Racing Team shone in the 2025 edition of the Race Across France.
An epic duel between Jonas and Lucas
" After a navigation error in Clermont-Ferrand, I spent two days chasing Lucas in the mountains. I had to ride the last 580 kilometers and 11,000 meters of elevation gain in one go, without sleep. I was exhausted on the Cime de la Bonette, clinging to reality in the last ten hours... I never thought I'd make it. It was crazy, and magnificent."

A battle worthy of the great pages of ultra, concluded by a sleepless night for the victory. Performances that testify to an extraordinary mentality
Outfits designed to go (very) far
All riders wore a jersey developed specifically for the event, featuring a high-visibility design, reflective back pockets for safety, and cargo shorts with three large side pockets. These pieces were designed for autonomy and endurance – tested and validated over 2,500 km.
You can find the Owlin Ultra V2 bib shorts and the Owlin Ultra V2 short-sleeved jersey in our online store.
Owlin, performance at the service of adventure
Through this team, Owlin affirms its ambition: to enable everyone to surpass themselves – from a coffee outing to crossing a continent. The products are designed to last, be comfortable, high-performance, and suitable for the most challenging adventures.
This type of event allows us to test our clothing in conditions that few cyclists will experience. And to prove that we can combine comfort, autonomy, and performance over several days with local and responsible production.
And now? Even further…
This first campaign marks the promising beginnings of a long-term project. The goal is now clear: to structure the Owlin Racing Team into a true collective capable of supporting its athletes throughout their season, with enhanced logistical, material, and human support.
To achieve this, Owlin will open the door to partners and sponsors who share its vision of ultracycling: performance, sustainability, a spirit of adventure, and self-improvement. This team dynamic aims to enable riders to tackle even more ambitious challenges, with optimal conditions to fully express themselves.
The next event has already been scheduled: the VIA RACE, 4000 km across Europe, where Lucas Becker will once again represent the Owlin colours from July.
